Heat, cold water, and a long walk.
Three things to do, and you can do all of them or none. They are not booked, scheduled or sold as an extra. They are simply here when you want them.
The Sauna
Wood-fired, built into the rock.
A cedar sauna cut into the cliff, heated by a stove we light at four. It looks straight out at the water through one tall window. We keep it going into the evening; let yourself in.
The Swim
Cold, and good for you, apparently.
Steps lead down from the sauna to a sheltered cut in the rocks where you can get into the sea. It is cold. That is the point. People come up from it changed, in a small but noticeable way.
The Walks
Guided along the cliff path.
Most mornings, weather allowing, one of us walks the coast path with anyone who wants to come. An hour or three, depending on the legs and the light. You will be told the names of things.
None of it costs extra. None of it is compulsory. The sauna is lit whether one person uses it or none.
Come and try it
